Jennifer
Homan attended Colorado State University, earning a BA with a
painting concentration, and K-12 Teacher Certification. After
teaching in Loveland, she returned to Kearney, and is currently
teaching part-time at Kearney Catholic, raising two daughters, and
working as a professional artist from her home. She enjoys working
in pastels, and most of her subject matter consists of local
landscape or portraiture.
“Here is an interesting fact about the female crane . . . she has
one brown eye and one blue eye. My younger daughter was blessed
with two different colored eyes, so I thought it might be fun for
her to point out the ‘pretty’ crane with two different colored
eyes.” |
