Artist: Cynthia Taylor
Lightner |
Cynthia Taylor Lightner is a member of the Kearney Artist Guild
and the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs. She earned her B.A. in
Art Education from John B. Stetson University in DeLand, Florida and
an MFA in Theatrical Costume Design from the Yale University
Graduate School of Drama. She holds a diploma in Professional Art
from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and a diploma in Printing and
Graphic Design from the Vocational-Technical School of Muskogee,
Oklahoma.
Numerous years of teaching at the
college, community college and high school levels, as well as
commissions in sculpture and murals, help Cynthia inspire the
potential in others.
