   Each crane will be a unique and original piece of artwork.  Martha Pettigrew's original sculpture will be replicated and cast in fiberglass, after which each 6 foot crane will be paired with a local, regional or national artist for the final touches.

   After applying his or her unique style to their crane, Artists will be paired with a sponsor, for the event which is Cranes On Parade!  In October 2003, the cranes will be auctioned off to various art collectors and other supporters of Cranes On Parade.
